The unmissable Villette

Situated close to the Hotel La Belle Ville, La Villette is a lively place where exciting things are always happening. From April 7th, a fascinating exhibition is being hosted in the Grande Halle. Entitled Ramses & the Gold of the Pharaohs, it will transport you through 3,000 years of history to see the jewellery, funerary furniture, masks and above all the imposing sarcophagus of the great pharaoh, an exceptional loan from the Egyptian authorities. In a completely different style, you can dive into the offbeat world of filmmaker Tim Burton with the exhibition Tim Burton: The Labyrinth. More than 300 possible routes allow you to experience the quirky world of the director.

Cité des Sciences and 104

Looking for an exhibition suitable for children? The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie is always teeming with great ways to interest the young in science. From April 4th, Métamorphoses invites them to discover all the facets of the transformations that occur in nature. Aesthetic, playful and sometimes downright philosophical, this exhibition fascinates young and old alike. Looking for some other kind of entertainment? Study the diverse programme of 104! This cultural centre in the 19th arrondissement has plenty to offer, ranging from the Young European Photo Festival to performances by Euripides Laskaridis, by way of theatre and dance, as well as workshops for the whole family.
